The Sarasota County Film & Entertainment Office will hold a mixer for the film and media production community on Monday, Dec. 15, 5:30-7:30p.m. at InterMedia Productions, 1234 Second Street, Sarasota. Recently appointed Arts Council of Sarasota County Executive Director Russ Crumley will discuss the art of making of good entertainment. Crumley will share his vision for the arts in Sarasota County and provide insight into the interaction between fine arts and electronic/media arts. Film, television, and media production professionals, as well as members of the community interested in learning more about the area’s film industry, are encouraged to attend.
