March EDC Breakfast to Highlight Technology Transfer Process The EDC will hold a breakfast, featuring information about the technology transfer process from universities to businesses at 7:45 a.m., March.10 at University of South Florida, Sarasota-Manatee, 8350 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, Fla. The event will feature a discussion with Valerie McDevitt, assistant vice president for Research in the Division of Patents & Licensing, at the University of South Florida. The company has been manufacturing, installing, and servicing illuminated signs and channel letters for over 32 years. They plan to expand into digital technology utilization as part of their long term growth and diversification. Sarasota Chamber's YPG to Hold Voting Rally The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Group will hold a rally supporting the "VOTE YES" campaign for March 16th: School Board Referendum. They invite you to show your support for schools on March 5, 3:30 - 6:00 p.m., Finebloom & Haenel, 200 North Washington Boulevard (do not park in firm's parking lot - please use public parking).
